French Empire, ormolu figural mantel clock 8 day time & strike mvt with silk thread suspension on a wooden base with period glass dome, c1830
CONDITION:
good bright gilding with little loss, angelic / winged minstrel figure with missing musical instrument (not noticed from a distance). On porcelain dial, the Roman numeral chapter ring is in excellent condition with one tiny hairline near 4. Silk dust cloth/screen present on rear case cover. Ht 15 1/2"
